Melissa May
Melissa Carol May, 41, of Soddy Daisy, died on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
She was a lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy and a Christian. Melissa enjoyed fishing. Her proudest accomplishment was her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John L. and Evelyn Lewis, Charles May and Lucille May Cordell and her fiancé, Todd Haycraft.
Survivors are her daughter, Adara Joiner (Cole Montalvo); parents, Kenneth and Connie Lewis May; brothers, Jon May and Keith May (Pamela), grandfather, J.T. Cordell; aunts and uncles, Janet and Dennis Morgan, Carol and Dennis Hutton, Butch and Janie May and Betty Cathey; special cousins, Jared Morgan (Katie) and Matt Hutton (Andrea), many cousins and other relatives and her special best friend, Rhonda Harris Ivey (Chuck).
Services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Millsaps Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
