The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Fillauer’s new manufacturing facility at 2880 Amnicola Hwy.
Over the past four months, Fillauer has expanded its orthotic and prosthetic manufacturing and relocated its Hosmer division into this new 35,000 square foot facility.
In recognition of Fillauer’s efforts in "creating economic growth and commitment to a vibrant business environment," the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce proclaimed Oct. 1 Fillauer day.
Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke and Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger spoke at the ceremony and those attending included members of the Chamber, representatives from U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander and U.S. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann’s offices, and business community members, including those from Chambliss Bahner & Stophel, Cornerstone Community Bank, Regions Bank, TNECD, and SBDC at Chattanooga State Community College.
