Helen “Jeannette” Armour, 80, of Athens, GA, passed away Thursday morning, January 29, 2015 at her residence.
Born in South Georgia, she spent the majority of her life in Ruskin, FL before moving to McMinn County in 2006. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Daisy Almand; daughters, Dana Driggers and Deborah Caldwell; brothers, Robert Almand and Kenny Wilson; and sister, Alice Wilson.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Joseph “Joe” Armour of Athens; sons, Duke Driggers of Meigs County and Dean Driggers of Ruskin, FL; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
