Knoxville – Enjoy the adventures of Huckleberry Finn, adapted for the stage from the American novel by Mark Twain through Feb.

1 at the Knoxville Children’s Theatre.

Townsend – Free admission is available to see the non-profit museum at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center.

Chattanooga – College students, faculty and staff can save 50% off tickets or $10 on membership with valid student or staff ID as part of the College Days Discount at the Tennessee Aquarium.

Memphis – Back by popular demand, “Disney’s The Lion King” will enchant audiences once more at The Orpheum Theatre.

Feb. 6

Nashville – The “Ronnie Milsap: A Legend in My Time” exhibit opens at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Goodlettsville – The second annual Magical Night for Mothers and Sons will include music, magic from Rodney Kelley, and more 6-8 p.m. at Delmas Long Community Center.

Feb. 7

Hendersonville – The biggest bike show in the U.S. with live music and prizes, a meet-and-greet with Tommy Flanagan of “The Sons of Anarchy” and the cast and crew of “Full Throttle Saloon” comes 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to the Hendersonville EXPO Center.

Huntingdon – “Freedom Songs: The Music of Black History” will be performed 2 p.m. at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center.

Pulaski – Critically-acclaimed Fisk University Jubilee Singers will perform “A Tribute to the Matt Gardner Family and Museum” 7 p.m. at Martin Methodist College. For tickets, call931-363-9882.

Bristol – Enjoy a special screening of “His Eye is on the Sparrow” 4 p.m. in the Performance Theater at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. The event is free and open to the public.

Linden – Have a lovely Valentine’s Day Dinner Weekend at Commodore Hotel & Café.

Feb. 14

Murfreesboro – Renew vows or say them for the first time on Valentine’s Day in the historic front parlor of the Oaklands Mansion. Tickets are $175 for bride, groom, and 16 guests.

Nashville – The beloved children’s tale “Peter and the Wolf” comes to life through dance performed by the Nashville Ballet with music by the Nashville Symphony 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. in Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Polk Theater.

Jackson – Spend “An Evening at the Sands Hotel” with the Big Band sound of Jeremy Davis and the Equinox Orchestra with the Jackson Symphony 7:30 p.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Nashville – The 13th annual TWISTER conference encourages young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math and will take place at the Adventure Science Center.
