Xavier Moore, though only 20, has been charged in five aggravated burglaries in Hamilton County.

Police said they used fingerprints to arrest him in the most recent break-in.

On Jan. 4, police responded to the home of James Gann on Occonochee Trail after a witness said he saw a black male kick in the front door. He said a second black male entered the residence.

The witness said the pair loaded over $1,000 in stolen items into a silver Volvo and fled.

Officers followed the Volvo to apartments at 3825 Hixson Pike, where the suspects fled and were never apprehended.

Several fingerprints were taken from the stolen items that were still in the Volvo.

Results came back matching one to Moore.

The Volvo turned out to be stolen.

Prior burglary arrests against Moore were Oct. 16, 2013, Dec. 11, 2013, April 9, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2014.
