Thomas Palmer and his staff at Palmer Built Environments are joining forces with Wayne Williams and Trey Wheeler of Cogent Studio to deliver what they describe as "the best architecture experience in Chattanooga."

"This partnership lets us take some of the best talent that Chattanooga has to offer and combines them,” said Mr. Wheeler. “Thomas has this uncanny sense for aesthetics that results in organic buildings that really belong in a place. We have a complementary skill set at Cogent where we excel at problem solving and incorporating technology.
Working together lets us all expand and achieve even more.”

The group will unite under the Cogent Studio name, and the PBE team will move to the Fleetwood Building at 232 E. 11 St.. when expanded space is completed later this year.

“This team shares my vision for collaboration,” said Mr. Palmer. “We work together to deliver the best possible designs as a team, where the needs of the client meet the goal of creating an amazing space. That’s a rare find in the architecture world.”

Together, the company will offer a full range of architectural services for civic, commercial and residential designs. The team will work on both new construction and re-designs, specializing in urban spaces that incorporate sustainability and technology.
