Michael Simpson
Michael Fowler Simpson, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Kindred Hospital.
Michael was born in Chattanooga on Nov. 10, 1942, to parents, Robert and Iva Seagle Simpson. He retired as a regional manager for Coca-Cola Company. He traveled the southeast with his work, and retired back to Chattanooga as a resident of the Stuart Heights Community. He enjoyed antiques, especially clocks and radios, and was an avid reader of European history.
He is survived by his daughter, Jenny Simpson Thomas and husband, Reece; sister, Susan Simpson, grandchildren, Emma, Jennifer, Robert, and Carl Thomas; and close friends, Carol Scasbrick and the Scasbrick family.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 5-8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. There will be a private burial on Friday, Jan. 30.
