CFC Begins Tryouts Saturday

Chattanooga Football Club is excited to announce their first tryout for this next summer season. This Saturday marks the beginning of the 2015 campaign for a National Title.  

“Last season was amazing- highlighted with CFC hosting a crowd of over 9,000 at Finley stadium and then playing for the National Title in New York’s Red Bull Stadium,” said General Manager Sean McDaniel. 

This season the club is anticipating continued success with the level of players getting better and better. 

“Because of Finley’s crowded stands, in addition to the Chattahooligans, our game day experience is among the best in the country. The opportunity to play here has become a big draw for many top players,” said fourth-year head coach Bill Elliott. 

The tryout is invite only with many returning players invited. This Saturday’s session will be open to the public, giving fans an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the team that is to come. Fans are invited to attend the tryout from 10:30-12:30 with free admission.  

There will be no concessions and some returning players will be available after for autographs. Some returning crowd favorites are expected to attend, including Zecka, Gregga Hartley, Michael Brooks, and many more…

Chattanooga FC has won 4 Southeast Conference Championships, a South Region Championship and been in 3 National Championships. Chattanooga FC is a member team of the National Premier Soccer League, Southeast Region. The NPSL is sanctioned by the USASA as an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and FIFA, the world’s governing body for soccer.
