Mary Louise Collette Snyder, 79, of Dalton, GA, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Marion Collette; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Walter and Roena Snyder.

She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church. Mary Louise loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also loved her church family and never missed an opportunity to be involved. She was a volunteer at the gift shop at Hamilton Medical Center for many years. No matter how she felt, she always was doing for others. After high school, she went to nursing school and began her life of taking care of others.

She will be deeply missed. Many thanks to Tonya Finley, Pruitt Rehab, Hamilton Medical Center and her many wonderful friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Wayne Snyder of the residence; daughter, Dawn Piorkowski; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Debbie Snyder and Steve and Cathy Snyder, all of Dalton; grandchildren, Michael Piorkowski, Kayla Piorkowski, Tiffany Snyder, Mitchell Snyder, Grant Snyder and Sydney Snyder; and one great-grandchild, Cooper Antle.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 29, at 3 p.m. at Grove Level Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be members of Wayne and Mary Louise Snyder Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at Grove Level Baptist Church on Thursday, January 29 from 1-3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Grove Level Baptist Church, 2802 Cleveland Hwy., Dalton, Ga 30721.
