First Things First presents Celebrate Marriage: The Power of Us, an event for couples who want a marriage that will last a lifetime. Celebrate Marriage takes place Saturday, Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Metropolitan Tabernacle located at 2101 Shepherd Road.  This event features relationship expert Dr. Richard Marks, co-author of the book Relationships for Life.

As a nationally recognized leader in the strengthening marriages movement, Dr.

Marks combines his passion, sense of humor and energetic personality to deliver a message that takes couples to a deeper level of love and intimacy.

“The biggest difference between marriages that last and marriages that fail is how couples deal with conflict,” says Dr. Marks.  “Winning an argument is not worth sacrificing ‘Us’.  My goal is to show couples how to get back to ‘Us’, and discover the power of a strong, vibrant marriage.”

Celebrate Marriage: The Power of Us is underwritten by a grant and offered at no cost.  Lunch is provided but you must pre-register by calling First Things First at 423.267.5383.
