NOW is the time to enter your band into the Road To Nightfall competition, which will get the winner a nice check and a prestigious headlining spot at Nightfall this summer. The friendly competition has provided great exposure for local bands and a plethora of great music for local music fans.
This year, 5 preliminary competitions will be held at Rhythm & Brews on March 13, 14, 20, 21, and 27. Thirty bands will compete – about 6 per night, for a coveted spot in the finals, to be held at the Camp House venue in Chattanooga. Preliminary round winners also win $500.00. The grand finale winner gets $1,500 plus the headlining spot at Nightfall and other prizes. The finals night runners-up also get an opening spot guaranteed at Nightfall.
In years past, the competition has been a wonderful event for local music fans to see a variety of the abundant talent in the Scenic City. It’s a great way to discover your new “favorite band”.
Bands must have three members or more and play original music. Backline, including a drum kit and bass rig will be provided. The majority of members in a band must be from the Chattanooga area or within a 45-mile radius.
