2014 Mardi Gras dancing
Chambliss Center for Children, in collaboration with Events with Taste, will host a Mardi Gras Gala on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 7-11 p.m. at Loose Cannon, 1800A Rossville Ave. The evening will feature Cajun-inspired fare, cocktails, Dixieland Jazz Quartet, late-evening DJ and New Orleans-style fun.
“This event provides us an opportunity to raise money and awareness for Chambliss Center for Children in a fun party atmosphere.” says Katie Harbison, vice president of Development and Administration for Chambliss Center for Children. “Everyone who comes has a blast.”
Tickets for the Mardi Gras Gala are $60 forindividuals or $100 per couple through Feb. 2. After that, the cost will increase to $70 for individuals and $120 per couple. Additional ticket levels have been added this year. The “Krewe” level is $500 and includes a reserved table for eight, special beads and party favors. The “Super Krewe” level is $1,000 and includes the same benefits as the “Krewe” level plus additional party favors, signage at the event and recognition in all publicity.
