After a surprising week, Dalton State (16-2 overall, 7-1 SSAC) now leads the Southern States Athletic Conference with a seven win and one loss conference record.
The No. 5 Martin Methodist Redhawks (17-3, 8-2 SSAC) went into Thursday night's game with No. 13 Dalton State in Pulaski, TN with only one loss on the season and with an 8-0 conference record.
The Roadrunners edged the Redhawks that night, 68-67.

Dalton State will then entertain a red hot Bethel squad for homecoming Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
