Daniel David True, 74, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday night, January 22, 2015 at his home.
Daniel was born in Rockwood, TN on November 17, 1940 to the late James Ernest and Louellen True. He was a honorably discharge veteran of the United States Army after faithfully serving his country.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Leana Cain; and one brother, James Earl True.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joan Stafford True; four daughters, Carrie Hensley (Keith), Tina Prater (Jimmy), Teresa Smith (Justin Thomas ) & Lisa Harris; three sons, Mark True, Daniel Mantooth (Teresa) and Tim Mantooth (Karen); one sister, Juanita Wilson; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
A memorial service celebrating his life is planned for Monday, January 26 at 6 p.m. at the Lebanon Baptist Church located at 1411 Old Parksville Road NE in Cleveland, TN 37323.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 26 from 5-6 p.m. at the church.
