The middle school students at Washington Alternative experienced a culminating activity of their unit on sound by listening to a quintet from the Chattanooga Orchestra.

The quintet entertained and educated students at Washington.  Each member introduced their specific instrument with technical information, history, and a solo demonstration.  Many selections were played by the group.

Members of the quintet are: Kristen Holritz (flute), Bob Burks (oboe), Gordon James (French horn), Bric Anderson (bassoon), and Bob West (clarinet).
