  • Thursday, January 22, 2015

Life Care Center of Collegedale has named Ben Stiefel as its executive director.

“Ben is a wonderful addition to our region,” said Carolyn Freeman, vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Cumberland Region. “His experience, energy and commitment to care will be valuable to Collegedale as it continues to grow.”

Mr. Stiefel is no stranger to the Collegedale facility – he completed Life Care’s administrator-in-training program there before going on to serve as executive director at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock in Bruceton, Tn.

He most recently served as administrator at Signature Healthcare in Nashville.

“For me this is coming full circle,” said Mr. Stiefel. “It feels like coming back home, and the renovation a few years ago has made the building feel more warm and welcoming. I hope to continue to provide the highest quality of care and services.”

Originally from Guntersville, Al., Mr. Stiefel earned his bachelor’s degree in business. He recently moved to Ringgold, Ga., with his wife, Lori, and two children.

Life Care Center of Collegedale, located at 9210 Apison Pike, is one of 26 skilled nursing facilities in Tennessee operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
