  • Tuesday, September 9, 2014

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will host a public meeting to gather input from users regarding smallmouth bass management in Douglas, Cherokee, Ft. Loudoun, and Tellico reservoirs on Sept. 30.

The meeting will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Office located at 3711 Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville.  The meeting is intended to act as listening sessions for the Agency to gauge public opinion regarding length limits regulating smallmouth bass in these reservoirs.  The information gathered from the public will aid in the future management of the reservoirs.

For more information contact Region 4 Fisheries Coordinator Bart Carter at 800 332-0900 or 423 522-2462.
