Jordan Blain Guess, 20, of Ooltewah, died on Sunday morning, September 28, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area he was a graduate of Central High School and was also a graduate of Chattanooga State where he majored in Professional Actors Training.  He was also employed as a shift manager with Chick Fil A.  Jordan loved acting, watching movies and reading Shakespeare.  

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Steakley, III and his paternal grandmother, Clarice Moore.  

Survivors include his parents, Mike and Robin Guess; sister, Jessica Guess; maternal grandmother, Betty Steakley, Memphis.   

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Travis Jones officiating.  Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
