Charles Wesley "Jody" Neal

Charles Wesley “Jody” Neal, 84, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014. 

He graduated from Central High School class of 1951 where he played football for Coach Red Etter.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.  Jody was a member of the IBEW #175.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Odene Neal; daughter Heidi (Richard) Waddell; son, Wes Neal Jr.; grandchildren: Taylor Neal and Morgan Waddle; sister, Martha Willman; brother, Ronnie Workman and Eddie Workman; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Chattanooga Memorial Park. 

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
