Carrie Lynn Carter, 40, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at her home.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley LeAnn Carter, her father, Marvin Spandau and grandmothers, Lucille Hinkle and Evanda Spandau.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Tracey Carter, children, Breanna Goff and Cassey Carter, mother, Brenda Spandau, brothers, David Spandau and Billy Spandau, sister, Kathy Evitt, six grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 12-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of historic Missionary Ridge Rossville.
