Barbara Ann Kenney, 72, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, September 25, 2014. 

Born in Lockport, N.Y., to Henry and Jean Nevins, she was the second of five daughters and also had two brothers. Mrs. Kenney lived several years in Chicago where she attended Northwestern University and earned an MBA. She was executive director of a national organization of dental surgeons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry P. Nevins Jr. and Jean.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Edward Kenney; brothers, Henry P. Nevins III of Lockport, NY and Timothy Nevins of Austin, TX; sisters, Patricia Billings of Houston, TX, Kathi Genewick (Michael) of Los Angeles, Paula Seekins (Thomas) of Lockport, NY and Julie Harris of Houston, TX; step-children:  John Moles of Colorado Springs, CO, Peter Moles (Sarah) of Clarendon Hills, IL, Cathy Koepke (Scott) of Northville, MI, Lisa Sykes (Peter)  of Riverwoods, IL and Polly Moles of Glenview, IL.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30. at the Basilica at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Bartholomew Okere officiating.
