All promotions were confirmed by a unanimous 3-0 vote of the Public Safety Commission (PSC members Terry Mathis and Carlos Calderin were not in attendance).

Officer Miranda was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  He is a 2012 graduate of Northeastern Illinois University where he played one year of soccer before an injury ended his career.  Officer Miranda received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
