Shock Theatre To Air On WDEF Oct. 4

  • Monday, September 22, 2014

Shock Theatre will air it’s eighth episode on WDEF TV 12, Oct. 4, just after midnight.

A haunted world featuring classic and contemporary horror films, hosted by the "neurotic ghoul Dr. Shock and his devilishly lovely sidekick Nurse Goodbody". Joining them is the mischievous prankster puppet Dingbat and a new addition as puppet master, a “dream reaper,” known as The“Dirge.”  The three exchange humorous banter and discuss facts drawn from “House On Haunted Hill,” presented by Shock Theatre.

Episode eight is a horror hosting package created to present “House On Haunted Hill.”  In this episode viewers can expect to see a "good ole fashion ghost hunt." The cast and crew travel to Prater’s Mill as they search for poltergeist and stir up a little spooky fun with Murray County Paranormal Investigations. Hosted by M.C.P.I the ghost hunt takes shape with interviews, ghost gadget demonstration, skits and a ghost hootenanny.

In addition to presenting “House On Haunted Hill,” Shock Theatre is joined by musical guest Lou Wamp and his band “Bluetastic Fungrass or for this episode renamed, “Bootastics.”  Lou Wamp, Lynn Wamp, Jim Pankey, bring their style of “Boograss Music.”

House on Haunted Hill is a typical William Castle “Shlocker” starring the late Vincent Price. The film was masterfully restored and colorized by Legend Films.

In related news Shock Theatre has a new schedule with WDEF. Shock Theatre fans will be able to find the show on the first Saturday of every month on WDEF TV12.
