Creative Discovery Museum Hosts Ballet Tennessee Oct. 4

  • Monday, September 22, 2014

Creative Discovery Museum will host Ballet Tennessee for two exclusive performances on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1-3 p.m.

Ballet Tennessee will present two performances in the Museum Atrium. Each performance will last approximately 15 minutes and will be themed around the Museum’s “Play, Build, Climb” exhibit.

Based in Chattanooga since 1987, Ballet Tennessee embodies the spirit of community through dance by fulfilling its mission with professional track, outreach and educational programs. Ballet Tennessee has collaborated with the Museum for several years and they are delighted for their return.

“It's always a treat for Ballet Tennessee to come and perform in the Museum,” said Liza Blair, Arts Manager at Creative Discovery Museum. “Children are amazed when they see other children dance with such grace and precision as the youth with Ballet Tennessee do.  It's really a magical moment for everyone.”

All activities are included with paid Museum admission. For more information, call 756-2738.
