Maxima E. Palad, 94, of Dayton Mountain, TN, died Tuesday morning, September 2, 2014 at her home.
She was born May 15, 1920 in Norzagaray, Bulacan, Philippines to the late Doroteo and Maria (Cruz) Esteban; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Justo S. Palad; son, Nehemias E. Palad; and daughter, Marcelina Marx.
A resident of the Philippines until 1992 until she moved to Dayton Mountain, Maxima was a homemaker and was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
Maxima is survived by her two sons, Romualdo (Ermilita) Palad and Nathaniel (Kareen) Palad, both of the Philippines; her two daughters, Elizabeth E. Palad of the Philippines and Josephine (Lee) Arnett of Dayton; eight grandchildren, Gem Palad, Merry M. Palad, Romer Palad, Dexter Palad, Emmanuel Palad, Josephine Palad, Maxeen Palad and baby Nathan Lawrence Palad; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside service for Maxima will be held Wednesday, September 3 at 11 a.m. at the Ogden Cemetery on Dayton Mountain with Pastor David Wendt and Pastor Corbin Pitman officiating.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home. They will receive friends one hour before the service at the Ogden Cemetery.
