Shirley Culpepper Boren, 76, of Bryant, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
She was a member of Forrest Hill Holiness Church and a former employee of Dixie Yarn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C. B. and Ann Lou Beam Culpepper; son, Olen Jeffery Roberts; sisters, Willa Dean Inman and Betty C. DeBord; and great-granddaughter, Morgan Jones.
Mrs. Boren is survived by her husband, Fred L. Boren; daughters, Karen (John) Wooten, Sandra (Robert) Gothard and Donna Roberts; grandchildren, Sherri (Colin) Phillips, Travis (Amanda) Jones, Mandy (Nathan) Ables, Dylan Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Lamar Young and Gina Sexton; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freddie Scogin and Phyllis (Bobby) DeHart; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel Monday, September 22 at 2 p.m. CDT, with Bro. Bradley Wooten, Bro. Edward Atchley and Bro. Shirley Byrum officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 21, from 2-7 p.m. CDT and Monday, September 22 from 10 a.m. CDT until time of the service.
