Man, 24, Dies After Drowning At Cleveland YMCA

A 24-year-old man has died after a drowning incident.
 
On Wednesday, Bradley County EMS responded to a reported drowning at the Cleveland YMCA. The call came in just before 3:30 p.m. When EMS units arrived on the scene they found YMCA personnel performing CPR on the victim with an automatic external defibrillator in place.

Paramedics and EMTs took over patient care.
All efforts were taken to facilitate a return of pulse. During transport a pulse was restored and the patient was transported emergency traffic to Sky Ridge Medical Center. Shortly thereafter the patient was transported to a Chattanooga hospital.

The man died Thursday morning, authorities said.
