Kinser Crutchfield, a Bristol native and senior at Baylor High School, will be competing for the title of Miss Tennessee Teen on Oct. 2, 3, and 4 in Clarksville.  Miss Crutchfield is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Scott Crutchfield of Bristol.

As a boarding student at Baylor, Miss Crutchfield was selected as Head Prefect in her dorm, an honor that is based upon selection by faculty, students and staff. In this role, she is responsible for the overall management of the Prefect system. She is also responsible for managing and shaping student perceptions about the rules and regulations that apply to daily boarding life and educating students about the importance of following guidelines and making good choices. Additionally, she is a member of Students Today-Alumni Tomorrow, Red Circle, and Baylor’s dance company, Verve.

She also serves as a peer-tutor and is active in her school’s community service program.  She remains an active volunteer for Give Kids the World Village (www.gktw.org), a non-profit organization and storybook resort located in central Florida that exists to provide a memorable, joyful, cost-free vacation to children with life threatening illnesses and their families. To date, Miss Crutchfield has raised over $17,000 to benefit this organization.

As Miss Chattanooga Teen USA 2015, Miss Crutchfield has developed her platform entitled “Beauty Reimagined.” Through this avenue, she seeks to promote awareness regarding true beauty which she defines as becoming your personal best by making positive lifestyle choices.  She also reminds all young women that beauty isn’t about being perfect or fitting a preconceived, stereotypic mold.

The Miss Tennessee Teen USA and Miss Tennessee USA Pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA , and Miss Universe pageants and are a Donald J. Trump venture. The young woman chosen as Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2015 will go on to represent the state of Tennessee in the 2015 Miss Teen USA  pageant in the summer of 2015.
