A message from Cleveland Regional Jetport Manager Mark Fidler congratulated local businessman Allan Jones on another first in the City of Cleveland’s aviation history with a nonstop flight from KRZR to Dublin, Ireland. Fidler wrote that the Sept. 11 flight demonstrated on a global scale that Cleveland is prepared to conduct business with friends and allies abroad.
He wished Mr. Jones, his wife, Janie, flight crew, Captains Roger Langlo, Shaun Berry, Fred Salyers and flight attendant Jan Smith Langley; a safe and rewarding journey.
The flight operated on Thursday, from Cleveland Regional Jetport nonstop to Dublin, Ireland. The aircraft, manufactured by Dassault Aircraft in France, is a Falcon 900EX model. The flight took seven hours and one minute from takeoff to touchdown. The flight distance was 3,903 statute miles. Takeoff was 11:10 p.m. (EST) and touchdown was at 11:11 a.m. (Irish Standard Time).
