Larry Henderson
Larry G. Henderson, 61, died on September 16, 2014 at a local hospital.
He was a 1972 graduate of Riverside High. Larry worked at Wheland Foundry for 33 years.
Larry attended East Third Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing basketball, bike riding and teaching children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Dowell and Lemmie Henderson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Henderson; daughter, Tabithe Henderson; sons, Christopher and Louise Henderson; grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Chancey, Samantha and Chlorisha Henderson; great-grandchildren, Tranquilty and Trinity Hill; sister, Lemmitta Nunn; brother, Harold Henderson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Reverend John Taylor, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 25,and the family will receive friends from 1–4 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
