Sam Lewallen, Sr.

Sam Lewallen, Sr., 73 of Middle Valley, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Ann, his parents, Mollie Couch and Ace Louallen, and brothers, Jim Louallen and Andy Turner.

He is survived by his sons, Sam (Pam) Lewallen, Jr., Bakewell, Michael Lewallen, Middle Valley, Tony (Regina) Lewallen, Dayton, sisters, Geraldine (Leroy) Philyaw, Edwina Farmer, and Susan (Greg) Auther; brothers, Johnny and Tommy Louallen; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, in the chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Reverend Mack Louallen officiating.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy.
