Rite Aid Chooses Chattanooga To Participate In New Charitable Giving Program, Awards Grant

  • Tuesday, September 16, 2014
The Chattanooga Autism Center has been selected by the regional Rite Aid leadership team to participate in the Rite Aid KidCents program and will also receive a $10,000 grant from the Rite Aid Foundation.
KidCents allows Rite Aid customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate their change to kid-focused charities. Customers can go to their Rite Aid account online and have their change donated to the charity automatically at every purchase.
The RiteAid foundation leaders will be presenting the $10,000 check to the CAC on Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Rite Aid at 2014 McCallie Ave.
The CAC welcomes families impacted by services received through the CAC and those who help support the CAC to attend this brief event and thank Rite Aid Foundation for its support.
The Chattanooga Autism Center is a parent and advocate-driven nonprofit organization that provides lifespan support and services for people with autism spectrum disorders and for their families. The center also serves as an advocacy resource and builds awareness about autism in the region.
