Sarah Foster
Sarah Clinton Foster, 91, of East Brainerd died on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Foster has been a member of Grace Episcopal Church for the past 57 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Foster and brother, Robert Clinton.
Survivors are her daughters, Connie (Kenny Legg, Chattanooga and Deborah (Larry) Holloway, Ringgold; sister, Mary Ruth Clinton, Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Fred, Sherri, Mickey, Kelley and Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Sept. 18, at Grace Episcopal Church with Father Buckley Robbins officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their loving care, especially Misty, Olivia, Sarah, Marcie, CC and Dr. Charles Crump.
The body will lie in state in the Bishop Barth Room at Grace Episcopal Church on Thursday, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
