Pamela Jean Pursley Johnson, 55, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born Nov. 30, 1958, in Summerville, the daughter of the late Billy Ray Pursley and Edna Jean Gorham Pursley. She was a member of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, she was employed with Redmond Regional Medical Center as an X-ray technologist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jerryl Johnson Smith.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Dennis Johnson; a son, Matthew Johnson; a daughter, Hannah Johnson; and a granddaughter, Raine Myla Harrison.
Memorial services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Pledger officiating.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
