Climys “Christine” Henry Donahoo
Climys “Christine” Henry Donahoo, 89 of East Ridge, died on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Memorial Hospital.
She was born on January 30, 1925 in Chattanooga to the late Marsh Worth Henry and Bessie May Dorsey Henry. Christine retired from Wilkinson Sales as an administrative assistant and was a member of the Spring Creek Road Baptist Church, where she formerly served as church secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Orville Donahoo, Sr.; brother, Rev. James B. Henry and her sister, Thelma Jean Henry.
Survivors include her son, William Orville (Peggy) Donahoo, Jr., Harrison; grandson, John (Misty) Donahoo, Ringgold; sisters-in-law, Nydia Henry, Winter Garden, Fl., Willene Woodall, Dayton, Tn., Nadine Donahoo and Mary Louise Donahoo, both of Huntsville, Al., Nina Donahoo, East Ridge and Geraldine Donahoo, Red Bank and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Julian officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
