Grand Opening Of Joseph T. McConnell Park Set For Sept. 25

The Board of Commissioners will hold the Grand Opening Ceremonies for the Joseph T. McConnell Park locatedat 41 Catoosa Parkway in Ringgold, next to the Old Stone Church Museum. This park was funded with 2009 SPLOST dollars and constructed utilizing Georgia Dept. of Corrections Labor, multiple local contractors and businesses and several County Departments.

The public is invited to celebrate and acknowledge the community effort to bring the citizens of Catoosa County a new place to relax.

Opening ceremonies will be at 4 p.m. with refreshments and entertainment following from 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 25, weather permitting.
