Nicky Norwood and Stan Clark with Bradley County EMS visit with Mrs. Hanah Burger's Kindergarten class at Blythe Bower Elementary School in Cleveland to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner.

The students at Blythe Bower Elementary School wrote a letter to the Paramedics and EMT's at Bradley County EMS inviting them to come and sing the Star Spangled Banner.

On Thursday, emergency responders did just that. Responders from various local emergency agencies went to different class rooms and joined in when it was time to sing the national anthem.

This event was to celebrate the 200th birthday of the Star Spangled Banner. "After singing with the children we visited some other classes to share with them about what we do in EMS," said Mr. Clark, paramedic. "It was an honor to be a part of this tribute and greatly appreciate the invitation."
