Willie Wilson
Willie Lee Wilson, 77, of Soddy Daisy, died on Thursday, August 28, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
Willie was a faithful member of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church. She retired from Arnold Palmer Golf Company, after 33 years of service. Willie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Willie was a daughter of the late Benjamin Earl and Lula Belle Keys. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Lowrance and Una Teems.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Wilson; daughters, Karen (Wendell) Gray of Harrison and their children and grandchildren: Noah Gray of Harrison, Jennifer (Donald) Rush, Joey, Anna and Sara of Ooltewah, Autumn (Jason) Hart, Ava, Hazel, Olive and Penelope of Pace, FL, Freida (Fred) Carter and Levi, of Chattanooga; Elmer’s son, Elmer Dewayne (Debbie) Wilson and their children of Soddy Daisy; sisters, Evelyn Coulson of Ringgold, and Joann Gibbs of Toccoa, Georgia; brother, Benjamin (Betty) Earl Jr. of Chickamauga.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend Ronnie Smith and Reverend Donald Rush officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers and food brought to the funeral home, the family would like memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 28105, Chattanooga, Tn. 37424.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, and 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
