I could not control the rolling of my eyes after reading the article about Chattanoogans taking their stand with Ferguson against the killing of black males. And I'm not talking of the thousands gunned down by other black males. It seems those shootings have no effect in regards to peace and justice. Instead it's just another small percentage that have involved a white peace officer that has resurrected the latest "No Justice No Peace" episode.
These haters could spawn a soap opera and call it "As The Looting Turns." I'd bet that some of the rioters looting and burning in the name of a justified shooting of a large adult black male, high and just robbed a store then beat the crap out of a defenseless officer stuck in his police car and shot because he charged towards the officer, have even been the shooters of black males themselves.
I being a Christian find it very irritating to see those guys that call themselves Reverends in the middle of it all. Blessed are the peace makers Jesus said. Who would you say are the peace makers during all this? The so called Reverends or the Peace Officers.
I seriously doubt the officer will be indicted. But if he is, be sure and try to find all the police-hating grandstanders when all the evidence begins to be revealed. You won't find them.
These tumors of society even bring their kids and allow the brain washing to begin.
Police Survival For Dummies 101
(1) Pull your pants up.
(2) Stop tatting garbage on your skin.
(3) Be inside your residence after midnight and not on a front porch or alley.
(4) Get rid of the machine in your car that causes everything in a five-mile radius to vibrate.
(5) Don't do weed nor rob anyone.
In summation. Want an honest job? Want respect? Here is my advice. Be able to pass a drug screen. Wear clothes that fit. Obey society's laws. Raise your kids correctly and explain to them that Peace Officers are their friends.
The Chattanoogan lists daily all the folks that have been arrested. That would be a great place to start in teaching your children. You could ask them as I am asking you. Who do you think has caught these people and put them in jail? Then you could point out some of the characteristics of their appearance that may attribute to their lifestyle or character.
But what do I know. I spent 26 years working the streets as a Chattanooga Peace Officer and am now retired.
No justice no peace? Give me a break. Let's see how many black males get shot next week by black males and with no one wanting their shooter to receive "Justice".
