Sue Bartlett wins Senior British Grass Court Tennis Titles

Captures Singles and Doubles Crowns

GPS tennis coach Sue Bartlett won the British Senior Grass Court singles and doubles championships this past weekend at Wimbledon in London.

Seeded No.1, Bartlett beat defending champion and No.2 seed Anne Clark, 7-5, 6-1, in the singles finals. She teamed with defending senior world champion (55s singles) Christine French to win the doubles. 

In singles she beat Carol Smith (6-3, 6-2), No.4 Betty Maitland (6-1, 6-0) and Clark for the title.

Also seeded No.1 In doubles, Bartlett and French defeated Hazel Lindfield-Carol Smith, 6-1, 6-1 in the finals.
