Terneus, Louise G. "Aunt Lou"

Louise G. “Aunt Lou” Terneus, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at a local nursing home. 

Louise was of the Methodist faith. She was born in St. Louis, remaining there until moving to Chattanooga following the death of her beloved husband and high school sweetheart, Wayne Terneus. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; sisters, Burdine Holzscher and Melba Hennen; brother, George Utley; and parents, George and Anna Utley. 

She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Jim (Diana) Hennen, Johnny (Teresa) Hennen, Tim (Corinne) Hennen, Denny (Rita) Hennen, Mike (Gina) Hennen, Mary (Keith) Helton, George ( Judy) Holzscher and Allen (Janet) Holzscher; brother-in-law, Bob (Joann) Wangelin; and a number of great-nieces and nephews. 

A graveside funeral service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, Thursday, August 21, at 11 a.m. CDT. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to OLPH Church and School or the charity of your choice. 

There will be no visitiation.

Tate Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
