Roger Dewayne Black, 63, of Ringgold, died on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and was of the Baptist faith. Roger was an employee of J & J Industries for more than 10 years and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Delia Brown Black; sister, Betty Jane Black; and brothers, William Black and George H. Black.
Roger is survived by his wife, of 10 years, Teresa Black; stepchildren, Adrea (Don) Harvey, George A. Howard and Scottie (Nikki) Howard; sisters, Elaine Klause and Cokie Black; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a visitation from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home.
