John Ledford
John David “Red” Ledford, 84, of Chattanooga died on Monday, July 28, 2014.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was retired from SCT Yarns after 35 years of service.
Survivors include loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Odessa Ledford; sons Roger (Sandra) Ledford and Andy (Pam) Ledford; granddaughters Stella (Alex) Bowen and Stephanie (BJ) Stephenson; grandson Dale (Marcy) Ledford; six great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
