Wanda Sue Dempsey Elleman, 64, of Whitwell, TN, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
She was a member of Whitwell Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in in death by husband, Danny Elleman; father, Elbert Dempsey; and grandson, Jonathan Carter.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances Carter, Whitwell and Elizabeth King, South Pittsburg; five sons, Robert, Johnny and Leslie Carter of Whitwell, Clyde Carter, Jasper and Carlos Carter, Chattanooga; six sisters, Elberta Moore, Margaret Pickett, Nancy Dempsey, Rebecca Dempsey of Whitwell, Elizabeth Caldwell, Valdosta, GA and Paula Starnes, Carthage, TN; two brothers, Don Dempsey, Whitwell and Russell Dempsey, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26 at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Rob Snyder and Rev. Michael Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, where the family will receive friends Friday, July 25 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. CDT.
