Notre Dame Ranked No. 5 In Class 3A Football Poll

Notre Dame has been ranked No. 5 in Murphy Fair's Class 3A preseason high school football poll in the Tennessee High School Football magazine.

No other classification in Tennessee had a more obvious pick for top honors than 3A. Of the 42 coaches who participated in the preseason vote for this class, 41 picked the Tornadoes of Alcoa High School as their pick for the No. 1  choice.

As was the case in 2A, four of the Top 10 picks were private school teams.

Here’s how 3A coaches across the state ranked teams in their classification:

3. Christian Academy of Knoxville
4. Milan
5. Notre Dame
6. Lewis County
7. Westview
8. Fairview
9. East Nashville
10. Camden (tie)
