Big FM Sends Ooltewah Listener To Paul McCartney Concert

  • Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Brian Ghormley of Ooltewah was the winner of 107.9 Big FM’s “Out There” Flyaway promotion to see Paul McCartney in San Francisco including airfare, hotel accommodations, and tickets for the concert at Candlestick Park on Aug. 14.

Mr. Ghormley and his wife, Deanna, are making preparations for their first trip to the iconic city by the bay, and a historic concert from a music icon.

“We are all very excited for Brian and Deanna,” said Big FM Program Director John Kelly. “Paul McCartney is a core artist on our station and is loved by our listeners. It’s awesome that a loyal listener won. This will be an incredible show. The last time McCartney played Candlestick was the last concert for the Beatles. His performance will go down in history as one of the last concerts there before the park is demolished.”
