  • Wednesday, April 9, 2014

The city plans to work with developers to utilize long-vacant lots owned jointly by the city and county, officials said Wednesday.

The county is being asked to relinquish its rights to 34 lots.

Paul Parker, county real property manager, said the city will be the lead agency in seeking to find developers to use the lots for new construction.

The properties would go back on the tax rolls, it was stated.

The new homes would be for moderate to low income residents.
