Benny Walker, 54, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home.

He attended Flint Christian Academy and Lake Fenton Schools and earned an associate's degree in Applied Science from Mid Michigan Community College.

He loved motorcycles, animals, was an extensive reader and loved his vast variety of friends and especially his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Walker, brother, Tony Walker, grandparents, Buna and Carl Ross and Myrtle Watt and Wilbert Walker, beloved Uncle and Aunt, Andy and Helen Caldwell. 

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Walker, children, Lenny, Kenny, Tabby, Shawna and Tonie Ellen, stepdaughter, Andrea, Mother, Shirley Walker, sister, Kelly (Ed) Narring, niece and nephew, Toni and Jordan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, April 27, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
