Police Ask For Information In Early Thursday Morning Shooting

A man with a gunshot wound to the thigh was taken by private vehicle to the hospital early Thursday morning.  

The victim, Antonio Smith, said he was shot while walking on Water Street.  

Mr. Smith was uncooperative with detectives and refused to offer details of the incident or suspect information.  

Officers searched for a crime scene on Water Street but were unable to locate anything. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 698-3333.
