Episcopal Bishop George Young will officiate at Confirmation Day Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 211 Franklin Road, Lookout Mountain. A reception for the Bishop will follow the service. Seminarian Katie Bradshaw will preach at the 8 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite I.
Wednesday at Shepherd's Night Out, the Rev. Robert Childers and the Rev. Mac Brown will lead a discussion of "What Do You Believe And Why?" Worship is at 5:30 p.m., dinner by reservation at 6 p.m. and the program at 6:40 p.m.
The Tenth Anniversary King of the Mountain Road Race will be Saturday, May 10 at the Commons.
This is a fundraiser to benefit the scholarship fund of Good Shepherd School. All pre-registered participants will receive a King of the Mountain T-shirt and a goodie bag.
